Hello and welcome to 4th grade! I am so overjoyed to be your reading and language arts teacher this upcoming school year at John Will. This will be my first year teaching, and I am so ready to start with my awesome fourth-graders. I am from Bowling Green, Kentucky and I graduated from Western Kentucky University, Go Tops! I have been married to my husband Jacob since December, and we moved here to Mobile in July. This year I am most excited about meeting and getting to know every student who enters my class. 

I want to impact my students in such a way they unceasingly give back to the environment they inhabit. I have had exceptional instruction in my life to push my dreams into goals, and goals into reality. The educators who took part in distributing knowledge in my life always went the extra mile. They taught because they cared, teaching to a new generation is a way of repaying them and paying it forward to the students’ lives I will enter.
