I'm a fifth grade teacher at John Will Elementary School. I've been apart of the "Dragon" family since 2012. I'm married to my wonderful husband Donald and we have two adult children in college. I received my bachelor's degree from Alabama State University, my master's degree from the University of Mobile, and my education specialist degree from the University of West Alabama. I'm proud members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and Phi Gamma Nu Professional Business Fraternity. I was John Will's Teacher of the Year in 2016-2017. I believe that all children are unique and can learn. My motto is "Success comes in Cans, not Can'ts." I love what I do and I love teaching and forming relationships with students each new school year.
